Doom: The Dark Ages is what I am excited about alongside Metroid Prime 4: Beyond for Nintendo. Bond, you should also share your thoughts on Metroid Prime 4: Beyond being a GOAT game alongside Princess Peach Showtime and the new Zelda which is Echoes of Wisdom. I do expect Switch 2 to come out and enhance Prime 4 and the existing Switch games.

To be fair there are millions and millions of people who only buy consoles that will go out and get Xbox consoles because of showcases like this one. Especially if the Series X digital/Series S receive a substantial price drop. People underestimate the amount of casuals out there that will wait to buy consoles until large discounts or enough games are on them, especially this generation. I think Xbox will see sales pick up alot especially if they get good marketing going in to the holidays showing off the upcoming games.

It’s the wrong time for this type of video. Most of what Microsoft showed were games without definitive release dates or games that had trailers that may or may not be indicative of actual gameplay. Without defined release dates, there is no “roadmap.” Just a general idea of what may release at some point over the next couple of years.

Xbox Showcase is good. I give it a 8.5/10. Im a PlayStation guy but Microsoft got Gamepass looking good. If Doom, COD, rumored Gears coming to PlayStation well that's good, but that's $210 for those three games. Gamepass wasn't appealing earlier because they didn't have a big game that can lure in new customers. IMO, I think Sony should buy a major publisher like Take Two, EA, Ubisoft, or Sega. Partner with Google or Apple to use their servers. Revamp PlayStation Plus so it can be competitive with Gamepass.

Here Xbox showcased everything with either no dates or even 2 years and people get excited. So fuck that guy, show us what's cooking for the next 2 years. Last month's State of Play was boring. The LITERALLY could have placed The Legend of Heroes Trails of Daybreak or even Grit and Valor because they've posted their trailers between the time they announced the State of Play and when it went live. Fuck. I could have crapped a better State of Play than this...

Im pretty sure xbox 1st party games will remain exclusive, i dont see gears,fable and perfect dark going to playstation. When phil said more of our games are coming to other platforms hes talking about bathesda/activion games since they now own them.

Clair Obscure Expedition 33, Doom The Dark Age and Call of Duty Black Ops 6 are all coming to PS5. Clair Obscure is certainly on my radar, especially that I'm a fan of Legend of Dragoon and turn based timed attack.

They showed a lot of good games but it doesn't mean much when most of what they show is gonna be multiplat and I wouldn't be surprised if games like Fable 4 end up on PS5 shortly after launch. MS might as well just be a 3rd party developer at this point. Also these games will play better on the PS5 and PC as well so why even bother with the XSX version? I also agree its a bit too late for MS. If they did this stuff 10 years ago instead of just milking Forza, Halo and some lame early access pirate game to death they would be in a much better position than they are now.

Gears Prequel, Perfect Dark and Avowed day one on PC for Me.

It's good to see them finally releasing some games but if it's gonna to take them 1+ generation everytime time to release a batch of games i guess it makes sense to go multiplat. Sony is kinda dry now but they were very consistent during the whole ps4 generation and first years of ps5.

Good thing those will be on playstation as well.

Honestly, Doom Dark Ages is the only thing I am interested in from that showcase. From what I've seen that game is on the top on most people's list that have seen the Microsoft show.
